In the military, you contributed to a disciplined, motivated and successful team. You’ll be right at home with ATS. As one of the nation’s top mid-size military-friendly employers, ATS is the perfect fit for men and women looking for a rewarding career after having served their country. In fact, 25 percent of ATS associates have a military background. That’s because qualities like safety, leadership and development are the cornerstone of our cultural commitment.
Veterans Helping Veterans
At ATS, you’ll find military veterans and active reservists who have made the transition into civilian life and excel in every area of our company. Our veterans enjoy playing a key role in our military recruiting initiative by actively participating in military job fairs across the country.

Serving those who Serve
Our support for veterans, National Guard and Reservists has not gone unnoticed. ATS has received several Patriot awards and the Pro Patria award by the Employer Support of Guard & Reserve (ESGR) for our commitment to hiring veterans and ongoing programs, such as our ATS Cares Campaign and our active role in military charities such as Tee It Up for the Troops and the National Society of Military Spouses.

We offer competitive benefits to our military employees, including differential pay for those who report to active duty and ongoing benefits options for those employees and their families. While our employees are deployed, we continue to provide support for the families left behind. And when our employees return, we help them transition to their regular everyday lives once back in the workplace. Our Uniformed Services Employment and Reemployment Rights Act (USERRA) Advisor can help you understand employee eligibility, job entitlements, benefits and the options available to you under the Act.
To show our appreciation throughout the year, service stars are hung in the lobby of our world headquarters for each of our deployed employees. The service stars date back to a tradition that began during World War I, when flags were displayed at homes, businesses, schools and churches with blue stars used to indicate each active service member in the U.S. military. "The star is a daily reminder to all of us about the service of the young men and women who stand in harm's way every day," explained President Jeff Owens.
We know it can be difficult to match your military occupation with a civilian job, so we’ve created a military translator to make it easy for you. Search our available opportunities using your military title. This translator lists common occupations from the different branches of the military, so be sure to look for an occupational family that may be similar to your specific military skill.
If you are a Junior Military Officer separating from the service, be sure to check out our Leadership Development Program.
Don’t see anything that matches your military skill? Check out our Skilled Technical Career Program to see how in less than a year, through the help of your GI Bill, you can become a Manufacturing Maintenance Technician with ATS.
