ATS awarded Best Company One to Watch in 2013
Advanced Technology Services UK (ATS UK) have recently been awarded the coveted "One to Watch" status from Best Companies, the organisation behind the Sunday Times Best Companies to Work for awards.
The award recognises the outstanding performance of ATS UK since its launch in the UK in 2007. ATS provide maintenance services for the world's most respected manufacturers, and their primary goal is to improve asset performance and reliability in their customers manufacturing facilities, as well as reduce the overall cost of maintenance. ATS have consistently demonstrated that the solution they offer delivers results and as such they now work with many of the world's largest manufacturers - Caterpillar, Eaton, Honeywell and Dell to name but a few.
Benchmarking to identify opportunities for continuous improvement was one of the primary drivers for entering the Best Companies scheme, and this national endorsement was welcome recognition of the commitment the management team has made from day one to creating a company with strong values based on safety, leadership and people development.
"We are changing the face of maintenance in manufacturing. Maintenance is not a core competency for most manufacturers, but it is ours, which is why we can add value to these great companies " commented Derek Hill, Managing Director ATS UK. "Our ability to focus on, and train to a high skill level the maintenance teams provides tangible improvements to operational performance, and also leads to more motivated and engaged employees."
Hill credits the dynamic and motivated onsite teams for the success of the company, and its remarkable growth. The company which has its head office in Kettering, Northamptonshire now manages maintenance teams at 6 sites in the UK, and has over 120 employees.
